If you were to visit us some Sunday morning, the first thing you would notice is that we’re a very friendly bunch of people, and we seem to laugh a lot. That the joy of the Lord is wonderfully present among us is something we cherish as a great blessing from the Lord.

“I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”  (John 15:11) NIV

During the service you would discover that our worship is a blend of traditional and contemporary features reflecting the diverse makeup of the congregation itself.  We love the great historic hymns of the church, but we also enjoy a wide range of modern praise songs.

He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.  (Psalm 40:3) NIV

Looking about, you would see that, while most of our people are dressed casually, there are also a few sport coats and ties here and there. Folks at Souhegan feel at liberty to dress as they like.

Then Jesus said to his disciples: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.  Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.”   (Luke 12:22-24) NIV

Watching the children come forward for their message, it would become apparent that we are a church with many young families who have found here the supportive relationships and programs vital to parents in raising their children.
